Hackathon Albania42

A good school not only teaches skills, but above all it builds students' trust in themselves and in people and creates a trusted network of professionals who can "create, experiment, make mistakes and learn" and teaches that the key to success is collaboration and healthy competition. The main result was to create the right environment to grow both technically and humanly. The students learned about marketing and sales, ux design and met the concept of customer journey, experiencing what we study in their course.

To conclude the process, 50 young people divided into 4 teams participated in a Hackathon, in which they were asked to share their final product: "the preparation for the launch of Guilds42 in Albania", called Albania42.
The first place, for the best idea and realization, was the team "THE MATRIX" 🏆 made up of young people from the Samifrasheri High School. This team will be directly involved in the implementation and realization of the model.

Innovation Culture

Guilds42 is the new innovation hub following the Renaissance model. It aims to bring together productive Companies and HR Manager looking for specific Soft and Hard Skills in human capital who wants to train and learn on the job.

WHAT

Guilds42 model

Guilds42 brings a disruptive approach to counseling in education and digital transformation, its mission is to bridge the gap between education and work and reduce social costs (unemployment, lack of skills, economic degradation).

Target

By 2030, ensure equal access for men and women to accessible, quality, vocational and territorial education.

By 2030, increase the number of children and adults who have relevant technical, professional, employee and entrepreneur skills.

By 2030, eliminate gender inequalities in education and access to education.

By 2030, ensuring that all students acquire the skills for sustainable development.

By 2030, build education accessible to people with disabilities, and without gender discrimination.

Target

By 2030, achieve higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation, including by focusing on high value-added and labor-intensive sectors.

2030, promote development-oriented policies within that support productive activities, the creation of decent jobs, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and that encourage the formalization and growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, also through access to financial services.

It starts with digital, customer acquisition, online sales to give immediate results through Botteghe Pilot. We quickly and gradually introduce new skills such as Coding, 3DPrinting, IoT, AI, Blockchain.

People are the heart of any company. To do this, it is necessary to increase skills and encourage interaction between people with different skills

Coordinate / participate:

We promote local economic development initiatives involving local partners. Plan an activity for 2/3 years, avoiding excessive constraints.

Clear guidelines and protocols of engagement:

the initiatives promoted must have, such as that of having an evident or measurable return in terms of contribution to the economic growth of the territory.
